It’ll just make your hauling gvw a lil more. There are a bunch of guys running 1 drop here in Vegas. Rates vary between brokers. Some have more work than others. But the city runs thru these 3 main companies. You can also add on Hightower trucking. They have a few trucks brokered to them. It’s a 24/7 town. Good luck

I moved here a little over a year ago.

 

Alot of the time 10 wheelers are used by the wet batch plants on the freeway jobs, Also some precast yard between Cheyenne and Craig Road over there on 5th.

The quarries are on the south end in Sloan, except for two on is Pioneer by Lake Mead the other is West on Blue Diamond headed toward Pahrump kind of.

Silica coming out of Overton, North of Vegas by an hour or so. Stop by one of the batch plants they ne able to put you on to the brokers around there.

You cant go anywhere on a freeway in Vegas without running into construction,,,,,

I worked up there from early 1997 to December 2013 on the everything from City Center, to your water storage tanks scattered around the outside ring of town, to the new bridge in front of the dam.... So I only know Cement industry.

 

Right this minute I'm posting from China. Kicked back in my condo with the family. Hot here and the humidity is higher than in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is very comfortable due to low humidity. Take care.
