This is absolutely absurd. If you want to be an owner operator then go out and buy your own truck. That's the first point. If your going to lease purchase a truck threw any company you need to read the contract. If at anytime you think it's going to benefit the lease holder you can walk away from it. These clowns that come out here with the misconception that as a owner operator or lease operator you are some how intiteled to regular minimum wages laws you are sadly mistaken. Put your big boys pants on and do what needs to be done to make your business grow. I'm a lease operator for a small company and yes I have been with the larger ones with lease purchases and I have found that it works if you put the same dedication into being a professional driver and owner operator as you do in complaining about you not making money. These and other cases of the drivers are being screwed if you look into it a little further you will see a bunch of lazy drivers who want to make the big bucks but not do what it takes to make it. Now I know I'll get a lot of hate mail for this but im tired of this kind of bs!
