Hey Brother, Sorry to hear, and Sorry for late response, I went through that B.S. with them as well, They will play games with you, until they see you are serious, They lie/cheat/ and steal, lol was thinking of the late Great Eddie Guerro theme song. I talked to prolly over a dozen attorneys out there in Cook County looking for a Contingent agreement, most will not do, because these scam artist are small fry that are day by night companies that have skeleton crews here in the US, just to get you in the truck, while most of them are in Europe, its easy money for them to steal and rip you off completely. They switch names and go under different MC numbers constantly. They figure all drivers are #######. Also the max civil court limit in Cook County is 5k, they owed me 10k. I knew they were stealing right away, and whether it was you or someone else that said Mike Lol the main dispatcher is complete ####,They all use fake American sounding names, believe me I know the owner as well as all the Cronies real names and history, I know how to find data and information on anyone, lol (I didn't have a top security clearance for nothing) they will lie straight to your ear on the phone saying a load pays this while it pays thousands more. All the Attorneys I talked to told me to do a DOL complaint first, its a lengthy process and they take forever to get back to you, but they will send out your complaint and if its not addressed it will go to court, but could take up to 2 yrs
Then use any attorney out there to send a letter of intent based on false pretense/theft/wages owed/classification of workers.

I never received close to what they in actual owed me, more like a compensation check for the 9 days I was there. And I let it go and have moved on, believe I was not not going anywhere if they didn't pay me nada, and this would have been settled one way or another if they had not payed a reasonable amount for my time otherwise, I am one one of those people that will hunt these people down, and do some terrible things, this was not going to end pretty for them or I. I am just trying to leave whats done.
