Yes Eric wanted to keep me...Tom was not much help at all. It was Jody in safety that had the final say. They did argue it out for an entire week though. I really did like working there. Like I said Eric, was great the whole time, but it was only a year old, so it was against their policy in Green Bay. Said I can re-apply next year though.

Eric??? You mean Scott? I think you should consider reapplying in a year. New trucks and pay will be in by then.

Yes Scott. LOL I was talking on the phone to my friend Eric. Wierd how that happens. Oh I am going to re-apply. I did get hired at an OTR company, so I figured I will stay there until I can get back into LCL. You will have to keep this forum informed when the new trucks and pay package start. I didn't hear anything bad about either.

Will do, I just signed up for this site. I had heard a couple of bad posts and i wanted to make sure everyone got the real info about this company. I feel there are good and bad about every company and depending on your situation some will out way the other. I can tell you about this company that if you look out for them, they will look out for you. The drivers that have the problem here are the ones that are all about me me me. All they care about is themselves. I feel that if I can make this company stronger than I have created better job security for me. if i can help them out then i will and then when it comes time for me to ask for something....they have never denied me.

:biggrin_25514: I couldn't have said it better myself. You are right though, there is good and bad in all companies. I always try my best at work, and it has always paid off. Just like this company I started for. I hear good and bad. I feel if I give a good days work, I should get a good days pay, and most else will fall into place. Good luck driver

I called the Elkhorn terminal and the person i needed to talk to was not in so the guy i talked to said he could try to answer some questions for me. He did tell me that the pay was a slideing scale, i asked him if the miles where paid practical miles and he said no that they pay hhg and that nobody pays practical. So, my question is does LCL pay hhg if so that is going to be a bad deal, i know better than that, a lot of company's do pay by practical miles nowadays.
