its not the end of the road, not even a setback. You just have to make adjustments. You made a couple errors, they're not going to throw you out of the majors yet. If you need help, ask for help...don't expect help. You're in a decent location. You got your CDL. you have everything you need to get started.
Do you think that you could do a better job, and be more careful now? There are quite a few of us that gong thrown into the mix without ever going to trucking school, or a trainer, or anything. Someone pointed at the truck and told us to go load it. Go hit the trucking companies in your areas. Tell them that you can drive and are willing to work hard. Get your foot in the door and go from there.
The thing that separates a man from a boy is a man can be responsible. Never shy away from accepting responsibility. Luck in battle.pattyj and Truckergirl0720 Thank this. -
LOL Why do you assume I am a man...dude?
pattyj Thanks this. -
We just sort of figured you were a grown man, rather than a little boy!
Now then, if you happen to be plumbed the other way, then I guess we were wrong! But ya know what? That isn't the first nor will it be the last time. We've been wrong lots of times.
Anyway, male or female, (or other???) we are just trying to answer your questions and give you ideas. Really. -
Truckergirl0720 Thanks this.

That stinks... my trainer always wakes up and watches the mirrors when he hears the blinkers. lol
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
sounds like your instructor was a bit blase about things and it could well be that it's a blessing in disguise that this mob let you go.
Truckergirl0720 Thanks this. -
Unfortunately your out of a job and your just going to have to look harder and in more places than what is usual. There are probably jobs out there for you, just gonna take some work on your part. Granted your incidents might have been minor but ??? x ??? incidents in a big company adds up to $$$. The trucking school might have sucked but they gave you enough info and training to pass your CDL test. I'm sure in their training, part of the program was to NOT hit stuff. If any of those two things would have happened while taking your test that would have been an automatic flunk. Period. So good luck and keep pounding the pavement.
