I've been leasing my truck from Knight for a year now. I love it, and I should've done it years ago because I've been with Knight for 9 years as a company driver, and I've made good money, but it's nothing compared to what I'm making now. Everybody pay might be different because of how they run or what terminal they're out of, but I have no complaints. I was a lil afraid to do it too, but after talking to about 30 drivers who said that they are making good money, and running good... I decided to try it out.

What I'm making according to what I need to take care of home, and have some left to save.

Alittle more specific would be nice. What kind of money you bringing home? What kind of truck you in? How long do you go out for? Which terminal you out of? Do you get choices on preplans?

Go back and read some of my earlier posts that said how mi
uch I make, and get back to me. I'm out of Atlanta, and I'm on a dedicated run that gets me back to Atlanta everyday. I run 4 big paying loads a week. I leave out on Sunday evening for Monday morning delivery, and finish up on Thursday afternoon. Back at the house on Thursday night. I can either take off on Fridays or work to make xtra. Any more questions....than you are just too nosey.

    Charles,

What you consider big bucks, some may consider to be small. If I had to guess numbers, I'd say you take home around $12-1500 after making your deductions you have to make. We want the honest truth as in how much do you gross to compare companies to say Swift or Prime. I do not think that's nosey; especially when one has to do his/her homework on deciding their fate for the next three-five years. If you do, then could you post the pay for l/o's???

Man... I don't have to prove anything to you. Who are you? Now if I saw you at a truckstop I can show you then, but I don't have time to be typng all dang day. Unlike you... I'm moving freight. Worry about your own money, and not mines. What kind of B.S. is this?

Ok so apparently Charles is not the guy for answers. Anyone else out there lease with knight? We aren't nosey we are drivers considering a change and want to know what kind of fire we would be jumping into. Now either this guy is one of those weird conspiracy drivers that thinks everyone is out to get them or he's a recruiter. So once again anyone else got anything?
