I will say that much. They are really good about billing, and passing on detention pay like no other company I've ever seen.

I was home for Christmas. In 15 years, I've not worked one, and am not about to. I'll end up sitting for New Years though, which I can't say i'm surprised about, but still a little disappointed.

    last few checks:

Yep spent Christmas at the casino in Waterloo.
Got 2 night in room free due to my comp points.

Made Cloud Sat. and did some bussiness talk about next year.
Caught the plane Tues. and am now sitting home where it's very warm and will be having a big family new years eve. party.

Hope things work out for all of you guys in the next few months.

Oh things must be looking good for next year seeing how ATS has ordered another 19 axle unit.

Did see a whole lot of new trailers out at west also.

I understand they have been shipping trls. to former Arrow customers as well this past week.

I figured they would pick up some of those Arrow accounts....that is good.

Guess I should introduce myself...my husband was a lease driver for Arrow...we got out in 4/2007 and he went to being a truck mechanic for a large construction co in AZ....he is getting the OTR itch so maybe in the spring we will see you guys out there.

Oh and we made the lease program at Arrow work for us and walked away with 10,000 so i know it can be done but i also know it is not easy!!

Arrow didn't have a lot of big stuff though, so that's all going to be more general freight. Not too bad I suppose, as more hs GOT to be better.

Honestly, I've felt like they been steering me to be Class 1 since middle summer, and between this new info and that Manitowoc 31000 they's being assembled and getting ready to ship, I wonder I'm not too far off in my thinking that they want me on bigger stuff.

    Whatever pays...

I believe they have drivers that they believe can do the job and they try and move them up

Arrow did move some big loads out of the Tulsa area. Mainly the big cooling units.

They have a real nice steerable unit last time I saw it.
Would be a nice trailer to have, if the price was right.

Our yard is still looking like a dumping grounds with all the new trls. and trucks sitting around.

I know of several big power plant moves coming up in Feb or March this year.
I hope when I come back I can do one of the moves.
Was told just keep them posted on when I will come back.

Right now I'm just enjoying the time at the house and eating my mother in law's good cooking.

Well Good luck, Just talked to one of my friends there in Cloud.
    Still cold..
Was told of some new wind jobs coming up next month.
These are new jobs that they submitted bids on and was not sure if we got or not.
One will be gravy run for tower guys. Ld. at a plant and go to a laydown yard and off ld. no jobsite unlding on that part.

Me I'm not coming back untill the middle of Feb. or maybe March.
Still too cold in the states..

Tootie04, take your time in picking a trk. and ask if you can see the maintance reports on it..
Picking the wrong trk. can make or break a driver, no matter where you buy it at.

Set your self up with online accs. to the website so you can check your payroll.

Also they will tell you that you need to have an accounting service I believe with the share cropper plan.
I have one in Co. that I use. Plus about 20 other ATS O/O use her as well.
She is fair with cost and has saved me a bunch of worries.

Let me know if you want her info and I can pm you the info.
She is not on their list, but they know of her and was referred to me by one lady in cont. service.
Been using her for 3 years now and saved my butt in a back tax issue.

Thanks alot passingthru...still too cold HA...chicken!!

My hubby is a diesel mechanic so he is gonna really take his time with picking out the truck. Seems like no matter how careful you are you still need lots of luck too...

I dont have enough posts for PM's i dont think, but you could send the info to Terry and he can email it to me on the accountant...i know how important they are for sure.
