sleepingbear, yes, I did create that spreadsheet.

and the 150,000 miles is the service life for tires and breaks not miles driven. Thanks for asking that if anyone else is wondering.

Miles driven is at 10,800 per month on the top right.

I would pull a step deck before I pull a flat.

I am also a vet owned business and can get priority on some of the gov't contracts as a result as well.

A DUNS number is high on the list to get once I get my own authority.

this is what it looks like with an $80,000 truck and a $25,000 reefer and MegaTrux 94 CPM.

I don't think so. If anything, it's low miles.

That's like 525 miles per day when you can drive over 600 normally.

There are some decent trucks in that value range but , being your OCD / Military like me ... That 25,000 truck will run you 28-30,000 if not more by the time you do all the stuff I do / you do .

    Brakes , drums , slacks , shocks , service , ( then tires )

Just saying in that price range in today's used truck market be ready to work on it ... Which it sounds like you are .

So what about looking on FEDBIZOPS and use that to your advantage? With your veteran status you should be able to prime some logistical contracts..:biggrin_255:
