Lease purchase recommendations..

Any way, that put a bad taste in my mouth, because I was working very hard, and making decent money, for the 80s, so I said to the loan guy how about loaning me 800 which is how much was in the bank, he wouldn't do it, said I wouldn't pay the interest or the loan back, so I took my money out of the bank and never looked back, in retrospect I should of tried another bank but at the time I was young and didn't know anything amd there was no internet to help guide me through.
So what did I do I made the mistake of staying out of the system for the next 25 to 30 yrs, now I have no credit, they don't even know I exist. Nor would they want to.
Just for grins and giggles the wife amd I tried to go into our bank that we've had for 12 yrs now to get a loan, we had over 10k in the bank and some good collateral, no issues with me and the bank, never had a negative number in there. They turned us down for a 10k loan even though there was over 10 k in the bank.
Still today nothing changes. I'm working on saving money to buy a truck out right, but by the time I get that much money, the truck price will have doubled, so it's really hard to do that, this is the main reason lease purchase sounds good, it at least gives you a fighting chance

It’s not difficult to make $90-100k a year as a company driver .

It’s a much better idea to get good with money than it is to get credit. Money works better than credit. The longer you go looking for financing the longer you will be in poverty. Poverty is the condition of having more problems than solutions. Credit is not a good solution. I wish you the best of luck.
