I have been looking at coming to work for JCT. Are the miles there?, does anyone have what they are currently paying cpm/fsc. I see that they have a lease purchase plan,is it a decent one or are you going to get ripped off.

tell you what. look at the about 10 million or so posts regarding lease purchase scams and how they should be avoided at all costs.
where the hell do they come from, and why won't they stop?tommy36years Thanks this. -
I was interested in them too. But I got more than 2 jobs in 12 months, so probably a sure fire no to me if I did apply. I wouldn't mind leasing a nice truck. Just wouldn't be able to be home every 2-3 weeks like I'd like to be.

I have figured it out, the ones that post here, with negative ideas about JCT's lease program, are not even truck drivers. They have nothing to do with thier lives, but sit there and badmouth, something they know nothing about. If you want to work, and make money, come to JCT. If you want to sit at home and cry, have fun. I have worked here for 2 1/2 years, and have made good moneyscottied67 Thanks this. -
It is human nature to post negative I suppose, but I for one am glad to see something positive and am happy things are working out for you

I personally sit in on 1 to 2 orientation cycles a month. While we average 15 drivers, solos and teams included your number of 25 shows how little you really know. I have been here for nearly 5 years and have always been glad i made the decision to come over.
We have a great support team and some of the finest drivers. One of the best is the owner John Christner himself. His program is geared to give any driver the chance to do well in a lease program.
For the other question of why the high turn over. Partly due to the nature of this industry. (the grass is not always greener on the other side) Partly because so many former company drivers decide to lease as a way to be in control. So often that means they want to be home as often and for as long as they desire. They lose sight of the fact that this is a business and every decision has consequences. And sadly some get a truck that is has issues and no ability to ride out the time it takes to get the truck straight and profitable.
The company does go out of its way to keep you the driver busy and profitable.scottied67 and skullitor Thank this.
