My 'scraps' ran $1.81 this week. Best week ever...... $5927 to the truck. $4500 to the house.

 

tell what's the difference in paying a 150k truck off in three years at 5k a month and paying a 150k truck off in 5 years at 2k a month. all new trucks are 150k, it's a wash. you get the title when you finish payments. the difference being you can change your mind with SNF easy peasy, and you aren't on the hook. The bank isn't so nice or easy, and your credit will be tied in with the event.

how often do van loads require you to do crazy stuff to help load/unload, mountain climb boxes to secure stuff, repack the trailer so you don't die, etc etc? i've heard lots and lots of horror stories about warehouse appointments being a 30 minute window or back of the 50+ truck long line, 6 hour unloads, 12 hour loads, place is closed when you get there. (mostly stories from the freightwhipper novel.) with that kind of headache, how can you even plan to get to other loads without leaving a day in between?

Nope, that's a Unicorn. Once in a lifetime F up by someone in Wisconsin. And, no, I don't have anyone booking for me. I did that myself on a Sunday when I was home.
