If 2500 is your net as a TEAM off 5000 miles you got some super overhead ... You really need to think about that and weigh your options

Sure that new truck sounds and looks cool but at those numbers I'd think twice

 

5000x 1.40 = 7000
5000\ 6.8 mpg = 735 gals
735 x4.20 = 3087

7000-3087 = 3913

Then take away what they tell you is your Fixed costs :

Depending on your carrier I may have left off a thing or 2 such as
