after talking with recruiter I am gonna have to do a 30 day or 15000 mile refresher because my last 3 yrs has been defined as local
this being said....at the end of that, I could invest 6k into a startup fund and lease.........but is thirty days comprehensive enough to learn the prime way......or go company and build a rep first and have better understanding of their process, ultimately I want to lease.....and succeed

I, personally, would go company for at least 6 months to a year to make sure you like Prime. Also, get a feel for the trucks. Learn the sweet spots on Prime's dime.

Start reading this thread at post no. 1, and you'll get a reasonably good look at what you need to do to be successful.

Well, I think my husband is really leaning to leasing straight out the gate, so to speak. After doing some calculations, we might have around $1000 saved up. I am not sure if that is a good amount or not. No decision has to made for a few more weeks, so I could still push him to go Company for at least 6 months to a year.

Absolutely, yes, Company. $1000 is not enough saved up, I promise.
