not that I know of but if you are always getting repowered because your messing around and running late it isnt going to set well with you FM and chances are you will be getting loads with way to much time on them so they don't have to worry about you being late

    DE36535 Thanks this.

Thanks. If I have to do it, it'll be the only time. I don't even want to ask for it but I'm thinking I'd rather do that this once than to be 2 hours late. Weekend dispatch tells me that even to reschedule an appointment counts as a service failure - and I dint want any of those.

that's becaus weekend dispatch is to lazy to do anything so even getting them to repower the load will be almost impossible but if you have made them aware that you would be late via the qaulcomm and its beyond your control to get there in time then it shouldn't be a service failure on your part

As long as you are not the reason it is going to be late then it shouldn't count against you. Oh and the other guy is right weekend dispatch is lazy at times. They put me on a load out of Tar Heel, NC going to Texas the info I got from weekend dispatch is pickup the load and head to Nashville, TN. That was it just head towards Nashville no hey you are going to swap with truck X at truck stop X or anything. Needless to say my FM was a little upset with them when he came in the next morning.

You do realize that unless you guys have the same dispatcher, each of you could be talking about the other guy's dispatcher... Right?

They all rotate weekend coverage. There is no "weekend dispatcher"

    What?

Driver ratings, and now weekend dispatchers? Whatever helps you guys vent.

i can't remember my comments about driver rating. Prime keeps metrics on a lot of stuff. However, I have yet to see anyone use it to decide what loads you get.

The real B team? They work nights. That "B team on the weekends" you complain about? It's 95 percent the A team spread thin.

So that warm fuzzy you get among other Prime drivers when you proudly announce that your FM is working this weekend? There's a decent chance one of those other Prime drivers is trashing your FM when he's talking about "the weekend dispatcher."

    (Reefer div perspective)

It does affect some of the loads available at the load planner level in the software.

    Not all FMs are equal.

    JimmyBones Thanks this.

Gotta say that Curtis (my "weekend dispatcher" ) handled it like a champ. No million questions, no second-guessing my decision. He just made it happen and I really like that. I also appreciate all the answers and feedback from you folks.
