Stopped by Leasing today. Freightliner and International are the only options for LW tankers. Pluses and minuses of each?

Your going to be under a 18_month new entrant period. With a new MC # / USDOT#
Where they will want your logs, maintenance program, drug program, employee files. Insurance papers and permits.I suggest keep accurate records of everything.
If you have any questions , I've been through the audit. Flying colors. -

Ironpony,
Can a Prime lease driver choose loads from common load boards or do you have to take all your loads from their dispatch? Thx, Bry -
You are presented the best load available when your truck gets to the top of the dispatch queue. Fleet managers have some say in the process, but their paycheck is base plus a commission based on the success of everyone assigned to their dispatch board. You have the choice of either accepting or rejecting any load, but if you reject it you go back to the bottom of the queue.
It spreads things out a bit so that one guy can't sit at the top of the queue and cherry pick the loads. You can also ask your FM to send you in a particular direction or location, but that doesn't always yield the best paying load. -
Ironpony,
Thanks for the good reply.
Bryironpony Thanks this.
