You have your own truck but don't have your cdl yet, good luck leasing on somewhere. Most places will not even touch you without experience or recent experience.
Speed_Drums and bryan21384 Thank this. -

As you wereDockbumper Thanks this. -
give some specifics about your truck. Year milage, motor, condition, etc.
i would assume you understand that you need to hire a driver to drive the truck? Many people who don’t have a cdl own trucks, that is not in it self a problem.
you need to find a company who will hire a “fleet owner”. Not that it is required, but it would be beneficial to you to own three or more trucks before you start. If that one truck goes down for any reason, all revenue generating for your company comes to a stop.
Off the top of my head you Landstar, Mercer, Admiral Merchants, Prime, FedEx, etc...
they all have have fleet owners.
you would have to inquire with them as to wether they allow the fleet owners to not be approved drivers. -
I'm going to agree with what @GreenPete359 has said and add one more thing. Maybe a staff member can move this to the owner-operator forum.
