    What kind of truck?
    10000 miles at .12 $1200
So that's $2800 in my post I said around $2000 depending on the Truck, credit rating has to do with it so does how your state treats leases tax wise.

You can get a truck for less $2000 a month go to a Volvo dealer they have full maintenance leases for like $1700-$1900 per month plus mileage. Check out the video bigred81 posted, this guy Jefferey like has been full maintenance leasing for 5 years. He only pays I think $1700-$1900 a month plus I think 7-9 cents per mile. He leases from a Volvo dealer in Michigan.

Earlier this year International would lease a new LT with breakdown insurance for under $1800 for a three year lease.
A question earlier, if it is only $2k why does anyone buy a truck? H if I know. Buying new, cars, trucks, even some homes is expensive versus the return on investment, ROI, it ties up capital in a depreciating asset, and if you are upside down makes getting any other loan more difficult.
The lessor loves to handle all maintenance and repairs, makes resale much easier and profitable and keeps predicable inventory available.

Most believe mega carriers lease trucks to drivers because they push the cost of maintenance and wear and tear on the driver. That is no doubt part of it, but not all of it.
A truck is a depreciating asset that has to be carried on the balance sheet as such. Banks don't like that.
A lease is an asset that replaces the depreciating truck with a constant value. Banks like those.

Actually a lease is no asset. It is just an operating cost. Banks like it, because no sunk capital.

For the lessor it is an asset, for the lessee it is a cost. A more predictable cost than ownership.

I've only been in business for 3 years, they wanted 10k down. $400 weekly +0.08c per mile.

    That included plates/ifta/washes/maintenance
