Not recommending, but have you tried using the Truckers Report Jobs search? Just put in your location, the type of trucking (flatbed) and hit search. A bunch will come up, with options for you to research, such as Lease-O/O, company etc. Then do your research from that point and then maybe ask if somebody has worked for these companies and their experiences. Remember, the best one's usually don't advertise. Since it looks like you're starting out in this vein, though, these Truckers Report references should get you started for research.

Bennett is great. Being that you're looking at Midwest area, check out Ace Doran (part of the Bennett family). Im just a lease operator with another division that is getting merged into Ace, but I can answer any questions you might have and get you in touch with the right people.

 

Be careful of those just trying to get you on so they get paid a recruiting bonus. You're better off just researching instead of asking for a name from individuals.

With researching you can read both the good and bad then decide from there. With referrals you're going to get told anything to get you to sign up so they get paid.
