With the wealth of knowledge on this forum, I'm curious to know of good carriers to lease onto for flatbed. Midwest/SE lanes. Any opinions or companies that you are or have leased on with. Or carriers that you would recommend? Thanks in advance

Thanks for your response. Home location is SC and I prefer to stay out M-F, jumping up in Midwest lanes, then back home for the weekend.

For starters:
Tennessee Steel Haulers
Bennett Tranportation
Beemac Trucking - was good when I was a company driver with them pre 2017
Kaplan Trucking
Just to get you started.Last edited: Jul 10, 2024

Man you're awesome! I really appreciate your details response. I did fill out a trucker's report job search and nothing really stuck out at me after doing some research on a few of them. But I will definitely check into a couple of the others you named. Thanks again!

Bennett is great. Being that you're looking at Midwest area, check out Ace Doran (part of the Bennett family). Im just a lease operator with another division that is getting merged into Ace, but I can answer any questions you might have and get you in touch with the right people.

Be careful of those just trying to get you on so they get paid a recruiting bonus. You're better off just researching instead of asking for a name from individuals.
With researching you can read both the good and bad then decide from there. With referrals you're going to get told anything to get you to sign up so they get paid. -
Regional Flatbed service.
