Less than half of what I would have owed the local tech school had I received my CDL through them.

Yes, still the same. Still well below the $8000 that I was quoted by the local tech school.

This post is exactly what I have been looking for. Wolfyinc, I checked out your website, very helpful and thanks, man!! Question, with the pay of .25cpm, speaking in dollars and cents, roughly how was the cash each week?

I'm about to go to SWIFT in a few weeks. How many miles are they getting you a week?

It doesn't stay .25 for very long.
Your greatest pay increases occur the first year.

And the cash is always dependent on how hard you want to run.
But keep in mind - the harder you run, the harder you might fall.

indeed you begin at 25, think by the end of the year your at 32 or so.

My checks vary week to week, it depends how hard you run, how many loads you get, did you take days off etc. Some weeks I gross over $700 and some weeks I gross $400, it just all depends. Same with miles it depends where your at and how hard you run, I get over 2k one week and 3k another week, I average during a full driving week at least 2k but I push for more when I can. Always spend time pre planning your loads, decide where your going to stop for breaks or for the night, dont stop too many times during a shift and you will get further down the road, I also choose rest areas etc to park if im not needing a shower or food at the time, its a quicker in and out so less time lost. A lot of factors will decide how much money you will make.
