Since last Thursday, the updates from CDOT regarding where chains are and aren't required in Colorado, on an hourly basis, could fill a 10 page thread by themselves. The state is raking in the money also from the idjits trying to bypass 70 and take the back roads without being prepared. Friend spent 3 hours stuck in traffic on HWY 9 So. of Breckenridge on Sat. because someone tried to bypass 70, without chains, spun out and blocked the road. CSP pointed to the large sign the driver passed requiring chains, then wrote the driver a citation, while waiting for the HD wrecker to tow him 15 miles to the end of the chainup area.

I see FedEx ground and Swift in the picture. Where are the CRST and CR England trucks at? Are they the ones burning?

i carry chains rear round. iv used drive and drag chains to make it out of a windy steep muddy clay dirt road slicker than any ice you have ever drivin on in the dead middle of summer. that will make for a suck factor of about 10.5
