Which hwy was closed
-
I know all too well it can be scarey when there isn't any signs warning you of the construction.
-
i was trying to get back to 80 and i assume you take the frontage road by cline right? that left turn was closed.
-
i know. its crazy
-
Construction in that area mainly don't think of the trks and how difficult it can be to find a way out,you can't just turn anywhere.

I don't see much of a way to get on except through town and on where 65 and 80/90 all meet. Don't know a lot about the city, been through there many times but not sure how to help. Good luck

That's when the fun begins ... One of the joys of a big truck, terrorizing the locals.

Gary is a good place to be leaving.....
paparas, Moosetek13, Klleetrucking and 4 others Thank this. -
I got stuck in a construction zone about a block short of the TA last year. Some crazy woman parked her car right behind me, preventing me from moving. She got out and started shouting at me using all kinds of nasty obscenities. What I didn't know was she had called the police. An officer showed up shortly, and I explained I was trying to get out of the area and she said I was already in a 'no-trucks' area. I must have looked scared enough that she let me drive the one block to the TA.
There was no sign and talking to other drivers there, they said the same; Gary is so poor if a sign gets stolen or damaged, it'll be a while before it gets replaced.
