Yes I got a fillsize right out of training. Until recently thats all flatbed used. Not sure whats up with the cute trucks on the flatbed side, but theyre a bad idea. Not enough storage space for all our stuff.

OK, gotta ask, what's the vaseline for. Wait don't tell me!!
-
i remember my reefer instructor/trainer mentioning those trailers and he hates the newer trailers for that reason(smaller tanks) he always wanted an older trailer especially if we were driving thru the desert during the summer
-
The smaller tanks are 25 gals I believe, as opposed to the 50 gal tanks on 2009 and older trailers. I always liked the smaller tanks and had to message my FM the one time I was dropping a "PRIZ" trailer: Do I really need to fill this thing up?
I think 50 gal tanks are way too large for normal operations. -
i guess its what you prefer idk whatever size tank we had at the time if it needed fuel put some in it not matter the size its going to burn fuel
-
When we were running the Great Dane trailers (18xxx,22xxx,24xxx) they had ThermoKing reefers that were real fuel hogs. You'd be filling those 50 gallon tanks a couple of times on a run in the summer.
Not so with the Carrier units, WITH the software mods...
