Just ordered 4 J W Speaker 8800s for my 2007 T-800; $350 per light, $132 per for the deeper light buckets (part #s 3156600 for RH / 3156680 for LH)- total of $1665 + shipping.
When I contacted J W S looking for dealer in my area, (so west Lousy- Anna), they gave me two names- Great American in Lithia Springs GA (770-941-0644); and Wilkins truck parts in Tonkawa, Okla, (580-628-5308). I called Wilkins, knowledgeable about the lights, but wasn't aware that Speaker even sold the light buckets. I contacted Speaker again, got the part #s and placed the order. Wanted to replace my buckets because the adjusting screw holes in my stock buckets are stripped out, & when parts guy @ Wilkins told me that most people do modify their buckets, it was a no brainer for me. Lights should be in in about 2-3 weeks, both JWS & Wilkins were very helpful.
My second choice would have been some LEDs from a company called SLC Lighting-(slclighting.com) slightly cheaper, iirc they use the Pederson LED headlights, and also offer a deeper bucket made of aluminum. Looks like a well made set; two lights in the aluminum bucket, with a 46" wire that plugs directly into truck's main harness for $713. Similar sets for other brand trucks, individual lights, HIDs, etc. -
Droy, I Got the same lights in two of my trucks. Your gonna love them!!
droy Thanks this. -
Good to hear,Swaan. I have been beating myself up deciding on buying a set of the JW Speaker 8800's. I would love to hear some good reports from people who actually run them and also those that run them in winter conditions. It sure would make the decision a lot easier. Lot of $$$ .

I put in a set of led low beams. They are excellent especially when it's hard to see with sand or salty snow covering the lines on the highway. But here is the funny thing, they don't change when I go to high beam. Only difference is on high my other 2 come on. (4 headlight system on a western star). Is this the way they are supposed to work? Seems odd. BTW just checked the invoice from Ft Garry Industries and it specifies, "low beam". Part # 71076, H4656. As well, they had the 3 prongs, vs the only 2 on the high beam ones. Price was 194.95 per each.
