Just want to point out a couple things.

First the dot doesn't approve lighting. It is a self-declaration that it conformed with sae/dot regulations and that's it.

The led replacement lamp (not unit) only be used with projection lighting - PERIOD.

Any other application of an led replacement lamp will cause it to BLIND people which is rude and dangerous.

    So don't use them.

If you are inclined to blind people, it opens the door for an oos with an inspection and violations, because for the last few months there has been a lot of complaints about lighting triggered by consumer reports saying most vehicles fail in being safe lighting and states are now looking at aftermarket lighting, so trucks may be targeted and should be.

    Tb0n3 Thanks this.

Speaker sealed beam LEDs are dot approved. Running in ice fog halogen lights were ice free, LED lights had 1/4" build up.
