I'm considering a move to Seattle. I had a phone interview today with Lee & Eastes and I'm flying up next Monday for a face to face interview. On the phone the guy made things sound pretty good. Of course on the phone everything can sound good. Does anyone here have any first hand experience with this company? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

If they are anything like the Portland guys, they are union. No set schedule, but you get consecutive days off during the week. They do a lot of av/jet, lubes, not a lot of refine down here. Up in Seattle, however, I saw an L&E sitting in line at Shell while I was delivering Bio. They go ALL over the NW. Idaho and Montana included. Have no clue what they pay, but a set hourly amount is set aside for pension. Equipment is older, but well maintained. They are in the process of buying new equipment, at least down here. All stick as far as I know, 13's/18's. All the drivers are happy, and if I were you, I would jump on that gig.
I talk to their drivers when they flush their tanks at our yard. I used to work with one of their drivers at a prior company. Hope this helps.Rodeorowdy Thanks this. -
They're an old company, been in business for many years. I knew some of their drivers when I worked for PIE out of Pasco. Their drivers tend to stay with them until retirement...that in itself says a lot for the company.
Rodeorowdy, skinnytrucker and Weeble Kneeble Thank this. -
Thanks for the info.

I'm considering Lee and Eastes as well. Moving to the Portland area in a couple months from Alaska. So many jobs down there, you wonder who you should go with. They all have their pros and cons. So why L&E instead of a bigger more known outfit?

Would it be ok to revive this old thread? I’m curious about them

I don't remember ever hearing anything about them
