I dont think he is at all. Take a look around when u drive thru the cities and 3 lane wide roads. Notice how many drivers share the op's mindset. But yet they want to call themselves truck drivers and have no basic understanding of how to deal with merging traffic and believe the middle lane doing 10 under the speed limit is the safest place to be... Ignorance at its finest.

How about in the middle lane doing a few mph over?

What you say is true about the roads. They need to stop wasting money putting in the right lane and use that money to put in 2 left lanes so each VIP left seat passenger of a vehicle can travel in resort-quality relaxation while watching cat videos on TikTok.

Michigan it is ILLEGAL for a truck to be in the left lane when there are three or more lanes.

NO matter how fast you drive or how much you think you deserve to be there, it is an offense that will get you a ticket.

I knew it'd ruffle a few feather. Didn't expect one guy to go full no true scotsman on me so quickly though.
All I was really getting at was it seems safer in the middle lane because there is far less interaction with traffic merging both on and off the interstate exits.

Trolling is when you argue with every single piece of advice you're given when you ask a question.

    So, by that standard...you're right.

51I6AxvVgrL._AC_UF350,350_QL50_.jpg Do not put yourself in a position where 4 wheelers have to pass you on your right. There is a reason they call that the suicide

if I have to pass you in the right lane, (left lane restricted), then you caused me to do an "unsafe movement".

Imagine how much safer it would be driving on the sidewalks, there are no cars at all.
