You're not wrong, but you're missing the point. Many members have posted this guy's videos on TTR as someone who has their stuff together, and he's found buying a house outside of his ability.

Back in 2019 one of my tenants gave notice because he was going to buy a house. Closing fell through because he couldn't get underwritten for a $675 a month mortgage (PITI and PMI), meanwhile he's paying $750 a month for his 1 bedroom apartment.

 

Nope, this guy has been linked to a couple dozen times on TTR in the last 6 months.

Problem with that number is they include all the large expensive city living. Take away all that and I bet it would be 200-250k at most.

 

Actually I’m not missing anything. What steps did they take to make themselves more credit worthy since? Did they ask for help? Who did they ask for help? Did they listen to the advice? Need I go on?

 

I helped her but did not pay for a bit of college. Because she would not listen I was not going to be held hostage for it. I applaud you as well for doing the same and helping another one that needed it more. I would had helped my niece but she was older than my daughter and did not go to college anyways.

 

One that not many think about Is the difference in our diets no days. The last couple gens have grown weaker and unhealthy from the food we eat now. To much food is filled with all sorts of everything but healthy stuff. A healthy body changes the way a person will think and grow. I would bet a lot of this has caused more mental issues then anything else.

 

To be fair it depends on what and where you go to school.

 

I seen it was in Canada so did not read much of it. But can tell you raising money vs Making it is Two totally different things. Also it looks like he has not been in business but a couple years at best. Even here in the states that is an issue trying to get a home loan if you are the business owner. To the banks you are not stable enough. Hell even the insurance cost prove the same thing in this industry. I don't see anything crazy and especially so since covid free money is gone.
