Well long story short got a left lane ticket in MO in st Louis. Is a left lane ticket a moving violation? Also came with a level 2 inspection...

I got one on the New Jersey Turnpike years ago and it was not a moving violation, more like a parking ticket. Cost me $70 and I was actually in the Left Center lane which they opened up to trucks earlier this year.

Depends on what the code/statute it’s written up as.
Most states it’s written up as failure to obey a traffic device. Same as running a stoplight/sign.ProfessionalNoticer Thanks this. -
It varies by jurisdiction and depending on who pulls you over. Regular local PD/sheriff = standard ticket not always reported, most times similar to a parking ticket etc. Designated CMV enforcement or State Troopers = moving violation especially when it comes with an inspection.
