I agree....at least hear what he had to say first before leaving. You may have messed yourself up for no reason. Plus, even if you were dirty (and this is a long shot), they may have kept you anyway. Just warn you and test you more frequently to make sure you stay clean THEN fire you if you didn't. Next time, hear the message first...then react.

Ok! Here's the deal: If you failed and they put it on your DAC, it will be on there for 3 years. The other problem is, depending on what state you live in your CDL could be suspended. You will also need to complete a program to be able to drive again. If they put it in to DAC as a termination, that can stay on there up to 7 years.

he also stated he was assigned a load ......abandoned truck under dispatch... nonhireable
and to other poster i am 59 and as toby keith says
I am not as good as I once was
but am good once as I ever was
and not afraid to tell anyone to thier face what I say on here -
on the CB first though, right? lol!
sounds to me the OP knew something was going to pop up, and was praying it wouldn't. I'd assume the test came back adulterated/diluted, which would automatically warrant a retest. If that goes on your DAC at a "failed", (adulterated/diluted is considered a failed test) you're done as a driver with any decent company.
maybe Carolina Cargo is hiring. -
Sorry. Just couldnt believe he said that on here.

Ok to answer the original question he is capable of telling the company as you agreed to that and he most likely will. Now the big thing here is you abandoned your first load ! which is pretty much a career killer. What you did was compound a situation that was already in Limbo not necessarily done. so what do you do now ? first you wait about a month and request a DAC report it's free and see what it says and hope it says nothing about drugs then you need to really think of a way to tell the next employer that you abandoned that load that will make the company seem at fault. the last option which is most likely to happen is find a new career. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but as the saying goes " you really screwed the pooch on this one !"

Unless you knew you had something in your test, you should have talked to the test center . he needs to check for rx meds that you may be on the WILL show . If its some thing that you are on they will most likly work on a alt drug to get same effect. then retest after a few weeks . Have not had this on prehire drug screen , but have been throught it on a random ! Dr changed RX and it showed as a postive , had to prove i was on it by RX . Could not drive for 2 weeks waiting for it to clear and retest .

I thought the OP said he has been truckin for 4 years?
Although I have indeed met a few as "advanced" as he,and yes I would be happy to tell him up close and personal how "funny" he is..There are far too many bridges too look under for a Troll. Much easier for the troll to find me. (Leavin MN for San Diego) tomorrow. Brand new Blue Pete pulling a flat loaded with cement mixers.

Sounds like a troll to me. What company gives you keys to a truck and a load assignment without your drug screen back?
