I would tell you what this probably is but wit your new operation I dont want you thinking on what I said as there are straights that do this then there are people who have limited functionality in the skull area so like if someone with authority calls maybe pick up the phone and see what it is ==> now this person will wonder for the rest of their life what the person was going to say

he thought he could take a drug test dirty, but that by not returning the phone call he'd keep it off his record !!

TRKRSHONEY and nicholas_jordan Thank this. -
I will speak for the devil hear and offer a second opinion. First, what kind of drug did you do that failed the test. I failed because of Tylenol 3. There are only 5 drugs they test for. Codeine comes back hot but it is legal if you have a prescription. You have to make sure you do not drive within so many hours of taking it and I no longer take it at all. The company can do anything they want to in your DAC report and you have to fight it to clear your name.
Can a drug tester notify the company without getting ahold of you? You might have a point. They do have to contact you. Or is it that they just have to make an attempt. I don't know. If you came back with something that can be explained then they cannot tell the company and you are correct. I am betting you smoked grass. Testing hot for grass gets you suspended. They have programs you could have go to. That would have been the best thing for you to have done. I do not agree you abandoned a load as you were never hired by the company. You are not hired until your drug test comes back and they give you an id.
I think, that your plan, while chickshit might just work out for you. You contact hireright and claim you never were hired by what ever company that offered you the job.
I do know that personally, I think you lack testicles and that the company is better off without you.TRKRSHONEY Thanks this. -

I worked for a small carrier several years ago...they had 2 trucks when I started & 3 by the time I left...only hauled their own stuff around. They happened to get audited while I was working there & I got to do a "pre-employment" drug screen 6 months after I had started driving for them. I also had to fill out an employment application and other paperwork, too...
Just like most drivers probably haven't read the little green book to know what the regulations state (they'd rather just ask somebody else who probably hasn't read them either for their opinion on what might be in there)...you've got small carriers who aren't large enough to have a "compliance" person staying on top of all of that stuff. They have product to move...so they buy a truck, hire a driver, and off they go. The only stuff they have in place for the truck are the stuff they HAD to get in order to register it and put it on the road. Some don't have the slightest clue about log books, HOS, drug testing, driver files, etc...and they learn the hard way when they are audited. The "new entrant" classification has probably cut down on those sorts of incidences since the new carrier is going to be made aware of what is expected of them and WILL be audited within the first year or two of operation to make sure they are doing things correctly...but it wasn't always that way. -
Yes, and yes.
You were dirty because you are a druggy.
And, you bailed.
End of story.RAGE 18 Thanks this. -
the company rep would not contact him if he failed THE MRO (medical review officer ) would.....and i have to say, leaving makes you look guilty as heck....so i am guessing you are??? if so...i am glad you failed and screwed things up...hopefully you will get your act together and cleaned up in the 3 yrs that you will be unable to find a job...TRUCKIN is NO place for drugs or alcohol....sorry not being rude...being honest...i hope you get cleaned up and stop wasting your life...i am sure you have a lot to offer....but you need to get clean...good luck...
TRKRSHONEY and RickG Thank this. -
LOTS........some even send you out b4 they come back...yes have worked for companies that have done thisHwyPrsnr Thanks this. -
The Doctor or people who gave you the drug test would have called you first before you were notified by the company. This is policy.
