the deal is my coach from trans am that i talked about keeps calling me asking me to reconsider coming back. he said that if he could finish training me i could be somebody in this industry. i told him the bottom line is if you would of trained me in the first place i wouldnt be where i am today. plus i aint just going to be anothetr body you use to make more money off of. i have an opportunity to go with tmc out of iowa. so i dont know yet

    What else happened?

I don't believe you went through all that and just let it drop.

did you just not like trucking or what?

no i love trucking. i enjoyed the new challenges that were before my eyes daily. i have reconsidered everything and today, i contacted trans-am and told them i would like to come back. after all the company is not bad. i actually like what they have to offer. anyways trans am already started my re-hire papers so all im waiting for is for them to run my dac report and mvr again. thats no problem i havent worked for another carrier and have nothing else on my mvr. so i am getting back on the road. i requested a different trainer this time as well. i dont have to go through orientation again and they are going to let me keep my 70 hours of training that i already have in. i will contact them tommorow to know when i leave.

I am a new driver as well. Less than 6 months and now unemployed. I read your post and feel strongly feel that you should tell TransAm all about your first trainer. He must not be allowed to continue doing what he did to you. I wish you only the best success in this industry.

I am still fighting with my previous employer and USIS regarding their putting 3 preventable accidents on my DAC. The irony is that my previous employer would not listen to me about not hitting a vehicle, and the final alleged accident which I got fired over, last week their accident review board found that I could not have damaged a dock at a customer and ruled that in my favor, and this will be removed from my DAC. All I can say is as TurboTrucker is right, be sure to continue to fight all these things to the bitter end. I have been unemployed for over 2 months and unable to get a job because of what they put on my DAC report. YOU MUST FIGHT FOR YOURSELF! NO ONE ELSE WILL DO IT FOR YOU!

    Best of luck to you!

too bad ya didn't read this board more before you jumped ship, it would have saved you some time.
ANY NEWBIES READING THIS, CALL THE TRAINING DEPARTMENT AND TELL THEM THE SITUATION!!!! THEY UNDERSTAND CONFLICTS WILL ARISE NO MATTER WHETHER THEY ARE PERSONALITY CONFLICTS, OR JUST HAVING A TRAINER THAT IS LIKE OLD "JUNEBUG FAN" HERE HAD (A p.o.s.) THEY WILL GET YOU A DIFFERENT TRAINER.
