eavesdropping is not the recording of anything in public.

it would be eavesdropping if you were listening in or recording a private business meeting (NFL Owners, or city council or Board of Directors), or if you were listening in on someone's private phone conversations, or the conversations ongoing in their private homes. Because in those places, they have an expectation of privacy.

Out in public, you have no expectation to privacy. That's why the FBI does not need a warrant to conduct surveillance and listen to a person to person conversation if you are in a public park.

they only need a warrant if it is in your car, home, office, work, or other areas where you have an expectation of privacy.

nope. but I know quite a bit about the law. I took pre-law when I was in college. Law school will be on the agenda someday, but I'm burnt out on school right now. Just want to make some money, get my debts out of the way and have fun.

like to drive, I have a big truck fetish , I enjoy seeing new things and going new places and meeting new people and it pays pretty good and its something different to do than the normal 9-5 sit in rush hour traffic twice a day just to make peanuts on the dollar.

and im burnt out on school.

 

I have always enjoyed seeing what's over the next hill, what's around the next curve, suppose I was born that way, & I always hated to go to bed early, & to get up early, & that white line never put me to sleep, so when your born that way truck driving is a suitable occupation. At least it was back in my driving days.

 

My dash cam paid for its self 300x today, it was on while my truck was in the shop having the transmission looked at for warranty, caught the mechanic talking about knocking a hole in the cooler with a screwdriver so they didn't have to honor the warranty.

 

Yeah? So now what? What will you do with it? That is awesome!

 

We're going to pull this trans, install a new one from another vendor, and sue.

Well actually I will probably call their corporate office first and share the video with them, that will probably be enough to scare them into writing a check.
