Because with an existing ticked they charge a $300 retainer fee each time. Think of it this way. When you get pulled over that little sticker you put on the window saying your a member or telling the cop you will have your legal shield lawyer represent you in court goes along way in his decision on writing a ticket. So for $37.50 a month tax deductible.. hell yes ! Only used them once so far. But well worth it.

Never heard of this. Stickers from wherever but like that guaranteed a ticket from me. I didn’t lose and never had issues in court either.

You were likely an honest cop who didn't write BS tickets. But there are officers of a more predatory bent out there.

Yeah I take pride in my work. 10% of any occupation shouldn’t be there.

Pretty sure it was endorsed by this guy images.jpeg

Folks those things are like casinos. They keep all those fancy lights on somehow. These folks make millions as a leech on the industry. That is how they have enough to pay folks to come on and praise their service.

Oh a little sticker keeps them from writing a ticket:rolleyes:

Yeah that is hucksteeism at its finest. They never write a ticket but have defended three for the OP:confused:

Done with it. But the owners of this board should at least charge them advertising.

I do miss yelling at the idiots at the truckstop selling this snake oil. Fortunately most reputable places have thrown them out.

You’ve used them three times? I guess you do need the service.

I've never been pulled over or had any violations. As others have said I wouldn't pre pay for any legal service either.

My most valuable asset is not my CDL.

In over 7 years out here I have yet to get a ticket that requires any 'legal plan'.
I guess that is because I have received zero tickets.

I had one of those plans years back.
When I went to their website to ask a couple questions, there was no one there. I could not even figure out how to access my own account.
To cancel it I had to get a new debit card number so I could not be charged any longer.

Whenever I see someone spouting off about how great these things are I just think... SCAM! Just another troll for some BS company.

I have a camera in my truck.
If something happens I will let my companies' lawyers handle it, as my company has a bigger concern to shift the blame away from me.
And in the mean time, I will just continue to drive safely to avoid such things.

    Good point.
If someone has that many violations, there is something wrong with the driver.

Let me make this clear. The first ticket, the cop misundestood my logbook (power trip). Printed a copy of my logbook, explained why I didn’t start a new page because I already did my pre trip on the previous page at 11pm and have been driving for 5hrs. There was a phone conference for this one, I explained to the judge that if I had filled a new page ahead of time would that be subject interpretation for falselying a log book? Long story short, case and violation dismissed.

The second, cop pulled me over for a speeding ticket. Stopped my nose vid camera on cycle, copied the memory and trimmed it. I sent a video showing that I was clearly crawling uphill, cars passing me, and I even time stamped and highlighted the part where I passed the parked trooper who was going to pull me over. Speeding claim? Dismissed.

This 3d one, is dealing with a 4wheeler. Traffic was stopped, bad weather conditions. Im on the right lane and the merging ramp is on my right side. This car, gets on the ramp speeding, hits his breaks, slides and crashes into my truck. It wasn’t a hard crash, just a medium dent on his car. So we call the cops and this guy is lying like a liberal. He claimed that I speed up to hit him as soon as he merged. I told the cop that he can take the memory card on the cam as proof of evidence. Idk if he watched it but he ended up taking it and giving me an reckless driving ticket. Good thing my portable server saves data and I was able to produce the video evidence. Ticket and violation dismissed. Like I said, this one took over a year.
