This is what i want to do buy a rear clip cut my frame infront of the axle ware it is now and put the whole clip on it one joint
I called triple R thay are crazy $7-10,000 also would take 2 weeks and thats if i bring the drive shafts and axles -
I got a freind that owns a local trucking company and when he was having his winch trucks rigged out I had asked what they might charge to stretch and add a lift to my T-600 and out the door was about 10K. You might also look at heavyhaultrailers.com and check out the pin-on axles some guys in florida are installing, alittle pricey, but another option!

I dont want to spend $10k before i do that ill just sale my truck and get another truck. I have the tires and wheels so thats one less thing to buy. If i can get someone to do it for less than $4,000 im going to do it. Most clips i have found thay want $3,000-$3,500. It would just be stupid to spend more than $8,000 in parts and labor when i can just sale it a get a diff truck if i got $18,500 for mine i could just put 10k with it i can get a nice truck fo $28,500

if you can get one already set up that might be the best option. then you can just fire up and go to work...no down time waiting for your truck to get finished.

One other option is a Jo Dog single axle jeep.

Now your thinkin straight! Don't piece mill! the truck you have was not setup todo the work of a four axle. take your money and find a truck that was made for what you are looking todo. I and you also have friends down here around the oilfield that have taken road trucks and added lift axles and what not to them and tried to make heay haul rigs and just wasted the same or more money than they would spent on the actual truck they needed.! good luck!!

Not far from Beaumont, in Lake Charles, LA
Trucks-R-Us, (listed in phone book like that) O/O by Craig Bushnell. Does very good work, popular with dump truckers, and heavy haulers for frame work, mounting dump beds, any driveline work, tranny and rear end rebuilds, etc. Also does driveshaft work "in house". Can provide references, fair rates, good turnaround time.
Exit 36, south to hwy. 90, turn left, heading east approx 3/4 mi, shop on left.
Don't expect much, country boy with two bay shop; mostly works alone, or with his son, but don't let that concern you, he works fast. He gets a lot of "farm out" work from dealers, and larger trucking outfits in this area. Spoke to him week or so back, was finishing up a big job, (replacing air suspension with Hendrickson spring for dump truck). Had some small jobs in front of him, no biggies, but you know how that changes.
He has worked on all my trucks since I found out about him, no complaints yet.BAYOU Thanks this. -
