I don't do Walmart dedicated. Dedicated might pay more. Never have delivered to a Walmart store. And do the simple math. West of the Mississippi is 1 cent less, not 2.
I picked up at Sam's DC in OH. Delivered to Sams in Bluefield VA $.31
A friend with 2 months OTR went from $.26 a mile to $.34 a mile instantly! How? SAIA Great Lakes regional. Went to driving nights home Friday morning, Out 6pm Sunday night. Out of the Gary terminal.
Check your payroll.
Dick, you need to mentor Hunter as your first. He seems to believe your BS.

i actually ran GLR with swift for the last year and a half. it was okay, but your average run is about 300 mi. really wasnt going to cut it when i started leasing a truck. thats why i went OTR again. I liked GLR, 3 out of 5 loads seemed to be Costco. They're more classy than wal-mart or Sams. those places are dumps compared to Costco. Not to mention you ring the bell there at receiving, and you're inside in a minute or two. Wal-Mart? you might get in within 10 min....and thats after calling the store to tell them your back by the docks.

RT,
I would honored to run with Dick but he runs midwest and I'm from FL. Chances of that happening are nil.
