I did a short stint of pulling tanker (4) mo. And I loved it. Was just filling in with that when my other work was slow, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Up and down ladder several times while loading. And running back and forth.

Another vote for tanker.....
I drove a box for 7 months with two different carriers, got my first tanker job, and never drove a box again.
I haven't slid a set of trailer tandems since 1994 at truck school.
Yes, there's gonna be two-hose drops through a snowbank, and access at some customers is a pain in the butt, but the shippers and receivers are generally glad to see you, and treat you nicely.lual, mitrucker, JolliRoger and 1 other person Thank this.
