Try Heyl too, they do some teams and have Volvo 780's for them. They will get you home usually early for your time off and only expect 10-12 days out from what I remember from recruiter. Secure lot so safe all around, 65 mph and switching to e-logs from what I have read here.

Florida is a different animal entirely. Right now as I type this, there is a fire (I'm pretty sure one of the dummies who "works" in the shop caused it. Anyway, this is/was a good place to run. I don't know what happened. I'm not getting the miles I was either. We are all going to e-logs so that's gonna suck, I don't know how we are going to get these loads done. To you guys out of Florida, like I said, that's like a different company. They have no brains and no respect down there.

Heck libs don't need miles. The Gov will take care of you, right?

How in the heck can a company make u pay for damages?? Even if it's your fault!! I've had 3 jobs in my lifetime. I've finally found a great high paying job. Employers are just supposed to either write you up for an accident or u could get suspended. Someone please tell how in the ### can a company make u pay for damages!!

Well,I can tell you that a lot of what has been said (IS) true. I worked for Lessor's for four months. First of all the recruter Randy. LIED to me several times about the great insurance, and all of the other so called benafits, before I started work. THEN after being hired I found out.!!!
There Is NONE if you dont meet the 9,250 miles per mo. and of course the miles you get is up to the dispatchers .So the dispatchers hold your benafits in the palm 's of thare hands. I begged for more miles so that I could have Insurance. Didnt get them.
Lessors doesnt even provide the drivers with a deasent place to rest while at a terminal. The Drivers lounge in Dover, Fl. looks like the back room of a filthy mechanics shop. and the bathroom looks like the mecanics cleaned there tools in the comode and sink. The drivers lounge in Eagan, Mn. Is a picknick table in the parking lot. other than a tiny room upstairs with a table and folding chairs.
And yes , the drivers have to pay for the trip pac fees. to send the company there own paperwork.
Dont even get me started about the messed up dispatch system. Heaven help you if a driver needs help at night or the weekend.
So the previous driver that had it so good, must have been really doing SOMETHING right. -
