I very recently left Lessors Inc. Dover Florida terminal. They have great equipment and maintain it very well. The down side is you sit way too much between loads and they get all up in your business about "Not Getting Your Monthly Miles". It is really hard to get miles when you stay out for 4 to 5 weeks at a time and SIT a lot. The straw that broke the camels back was i got the letter about not getting miles and then in the next 4 weeks SAT OVER 325 hours waiting for unloading and reloading! CANNOT make miles or money sitting that much. When i spoke to the person who was supposed to deal with the problem the first time it got a little better for a while. Then it started again with the sitting. Spoke to him again and his response was "I'M sorry it isn't working out for you here" and that was the end of the conversation. I have been in this industry for a long time and i figured with that attitude it was best to part ways. There are no hard feelings on my part BUT i just want to let every one know if you want to work for Lessors you should be prepared to SIT SIT SIT!
Lessors inc beware

I drove for them in 2013 for 7 1/2 months January to August out of the Dover,Florida terminal. I was never late for a p/u or del. I actually got fussed at for going 10 minutes over log (Qualcomm E-Logs)to del a load on time due to crappy weather (SNOW)( Iwas only 10 mins away and would have been late if i stopped)As long as you don't want to make much money (I averaged less than 2050 miles a week while there) and are willing to sit around a lot between hauls be out 4 to 5 weeks before coming home for 4 days off then going right back out then they are the place to go. One of the problems as i see it is dispatch and the general attitude of management in FLORIDA. They feel because they have really new equipment and maintain it really well YOU should be glad they hired you to work for them. I talked with my Driver Manager (About not getting enough miles) and was told to talk to the HR guy. I spoke with ole Marv the HR guy at Dover and explained that I was a driver not a truck baby sitter and his response was ' Sorry it hasn't worked out for you here!" And that pretty much sums up the attitude of the whole place. Left there found a small company close to my home and am getting all the miles i want!

I was going to apply to this company but after reading this thread in its entirety I'm leery to say the least. Do they still have the 10k miles a month requirement for health insurance?

They suck. Worked their for 2 months and they have e logs. You dont make no money with e logs nice trucks and they lied about driving for brad paisley

wow. I actually drove by the dover terminal yesterday and noticed what nice trailers and trucks they had. I was wondering why they had a bunch of nice sleeper trucks just sitting there in their yard. There were lots of them and they looked brand new. I thought maybe they are only out a couple days at a time. Guess that explains people sitting all the time. And I thought maybe they were a decent mom a pop company but this thread sums it up.

I don't sit. And that's a fact. And they wouldn't sit either if they took their heads out of their ###. And that's another fact. The driver pool is so bad right now it's not even a joke. Absolute worthless steering wheel holder garbage. We've got some doozies here. But that yard always has trailers in it, look at the numbers as you go by. Chances are good that they're different everyday.
