Plan on doing just that when I get up to eagan this week. It is my last effort before I leave like all the others in florida. We need a change here . I have been driving 30 years and can go anywhere. I have been herejust over a year and it was great till they changed the system. At least then I had real people like brian, bruce and cindy. Its not that way now. Florida really has control and my pay check has dropped 50%. Can not stay in a truck for400 a week. Be safe.

Do that. Talk to them. At least give them a chance to fix the situation or at least give you a different dispatcher. Maybe one not in Florida. I have a few good friends out of Florida that don't have a different expierence than you. I know what you're talking about.

This site always gives me a good chuckle before bed. When drivers sit on here and say the only way to succeed is by brown nosing.

How about some of you try running hard ans complain less? Try working the management chain to get issues resolved instead of belly achin on a forum.

@skyviewfarms. Try looking at things as an advantage. You complained about waiting 8 hours somewhere. That's trucking, not lessors fault. Look at the bright side,8 hrs allows you to regain the hours you had remaining when you got there. Or you can procrastinate for another 2 hours and roll on a full clock. Why don't people try looking at the bright side of things and use their brains.

Keep up the good thread Joseph.

I can't do reefers. I'm an O/O signed on with Barr-Nunn out of granger ia. and love it. they started me at 10 cents more than bay and bay offered and has a real good bonus program. my settlement this week was over 6k (it had my safety bonus on it) and i get home when ever i want. barr nunn is the first company i've stayed over a year at. never ever go to ATS out of st. cloud.

The yard is packed with brand new and trade trailers and all the new trucks. There's barely room in there. Lol. It almost looked like a Pilot.

In the yard there were signs that everyone needed chains. Good sign that our frieght has picked up, especially western freight.

All of those Motor West trailers and trucks are being replaced. Some of those trailers are 10 years old and beat to hell and the trucks, the newest one was an '05. These guys aren't going to know what to do with themselves. Lol. Looks like they'll stay doing the western states too. Good on them

12799 miles in November, the bulk of it in the last 2 1/2 weeks of the month. Still running strong, most of the Motor West guys are pretty happy, getting new trucks and trailers and all of that. That's gonna take some time to work the bugs out with getting them on board (so I hear) but so far no bubbles no troubles.

Ended the year with 135,000 miles. Not my personal best, but it'll do. 4300 miles this week, left VA for 4 stops in southern CA , then picked one up in Fontana for Oregon that delivers tonight. Then picking up in Othello, WA on Sunday headed back east. Not too shabby. Apparently the Motor West guys love it, they all are making more and driving brand new trucks. The hiring area expanded to Idaho, OR and CA as well.
