    Update:

1st 11 days worked: 384.45 average paid miles per day :biggrin_25512:

Next 20 days worked: 484.15 average paid miles per day :yes2557:

Overall so far: 448.77 average paid miles per day. Close to my target range of 450+. Minimum of 300 days worked per year @ 450 per day is 135,000. I've had to fight tooth and nail to get the miles so far. I'm hoping they'll quit resisting and just feed me the miles.

Let's keep this thread balanced. The Florida Problem. I'll explain. At this point, it's proving to be extremely consistent as in 5 for 5 consistent. 5 times I've been sent back to Florida and ALL 5 times I've lost significant time waiting to be assigned a load.

1st time I spent a Thursday night camped at my Consignee for early Friday morning delivery in Ocala and was MT by 07:00. Late Friday afternoon I was finally told I would pickup Saturday morning in Auburndale. 80 mile day.

2nd time I staged at a rest area 15 miles from Consignee in Tampa as the Consignee didn't allow camping. Again MT by 07:00 and drive the 20 miles to the Dover terminal. The terminal is 30 miles from my home. I was left sitting at the terminal all day on standby and at closing time operations went home. Spent the night at the terminal and was issued a load off the yard late morning the next day. 20 mile day.

3rd time I delivered Saturday afternoon in Lakeland and knew to just go home. Got a load issued late morning Monday.

4th time got MT in Arcadia late Sunday night and got back to Dover terminal around midnight. I had arrived at Dover Friday at 20:00 but 1st stop didn't deliver til Sunday at 15:00 in Winter Haven. So for the 2nd time I took a day at home. Got a load late Monday afternoon.

5th time is now. I arrived at consignee at 14:00 yesterday for a 01:00 appt this morning. I was MT by 02:00. Just past 16:00 I was told I could head to a truck stop cause I won't be getting a load today either.

You could say there was a 6th time cause in orientation they told us that we had to bring our gear in the 2nd day/Tuesday as we'd be heading out Tuesday after orientation. I got a load off the yard Wednesday.

I've been told numerous times this isn't the norm but yet it continues to happen to me every single time. They either have a tremendous imbalance of inbound freight to outbound freight or I'm very low on their priority list. They've said several times they need to keep me out of Florida but yet they keep sending me right back. I'm finding this to be quite frustrating.

How are your miles for the week? That's the real question.

when i was with transam it was same thing in florida
we called polk city loves transam south
always 8-10 trucks waiting for orange juice

it used to frustrate me until i realized i ran out of my seventy anyway
and most of the loads out were good runs to get us back to the meat patch

one trip it was -4 when i left Waterloo for Miami delivered on friday no load until monday
    i was happy :biggrin_25517:

Florida for any company can be touch and go. It's Florida. It can be hard to get decent freight out because Florida is saturated with trucks.

Joseph, I think Xlsdraw is trying to impress you by showing you how much of a Super Trucker he is. Getting 3,000 miles a week at Lessors isn't good enough.....:biggrin_25512:
