    We unload everything by hand and are expected to wear 6 inch heels while doing so. It's supposed to build character. I just wish they'd stop giving the recievers whips........



    lol just kidding. I may have fingerprinted one load since 2007. They do pay for all lumpers. Doesn't matter where or who. Just call and ask for a comchek and turn in the receipt.

    It's not worth it anymore. We used to be able to, and a few guys really screwed everyone. Overcharging by $100-200 on unloads.

    How is that rate set?

    Couldn't you just find out what the rates the lumpers are going to charge and just do it for that rate?

    Not trying to be a pain I've just always been curious. Seems like a good way to make a couple extra bucks but maybe I don't have a clue.
