Mandatory minimum 3 weeks out with Lessors,$50 Layover pay,Major holidays pay $50 only if your under a load.Detention pay is $10 hour if you can get them to pay you.You have your choice either Thanksgiving or Christmas Day off not both.No prepass for weigh stations so you stop for everyone.E/Z pass for tolls only and Preplans are difficult to get since it depends on what area your in at time of delivery. You deal with planners in Eagan Minnesota and Dover Florida. They wait until your empty to find you a load. The equipment is top notch and I worked there 2 years and had 6 different tractors. They constantly trade them in because the mileage limits are reached. At any given time I counted 30 + empty tractors in Dover so plenty of them to go around if your considering going there.1 week I would get good miles and the next week very little miles. So 2 weeks out of a month you get decent miles.I got tired of the inconsistent miles and left.Good Luck Drivers and be SAFE

If you don't count the weeks where I don't get a check because I was on hometime the week before, I take home over $1000 almost every week. During the weeks not effected by hometime, my lowest check has been $725. Usually checks under $1000 are because of multiple shorter loads rather than one or two long ones. As you know, shorter loads mean more time spent loading and unloading and you can't do enough of them in one pay period to make up for that lost time, so your checks suffer. They never hear anything from me unless there's a legitimate problem. Overweight load, mechanical issue, something unexpected happens that prevents me from being on time, etc. Sometimes a load is really tight and being on time requires getting creative with your trip planning and driving at night for at least part of the trip. Doesn't happen often but it does happen. Occasionally a load will require driving at night the whole time, but for me that's only been on shorter loads. Sysco loads are well known for that. Solar powered drivers need not apply unless you are willing to adapt when necessary.

You want to be a driver who runs whatever loads they give you, and a driver they don't hear from very often. Stay off the phone, stay off the Qualcomm, run as hard as your hours will allow, and let the chips fall where they may. If there are certain areas of the country you like to run in, your dispatcher needs to know that at orientation. That helps a lot. If you're not a complainer, if you do your job, and you don't need anyone to hold your hand, you should do well.
