Nice. That’s a good way to do it. Those or gaylords....
Beats that loose crap.cke Thanks this. -
That’s cool but I’m more interested in long haul produce loads. Example, Oregon or Idaho going to Texas. Or New Mexico pumpkins and chili peppers going to Illinois.

If the broker doesn't pay for whatever reason, you can not file on the bond as produce products do not qualify. You will have to sue in courtFatboy42 Thanks this.

I see a lot of onions on flatbeds going through IN/OH/PA these days. Mesh bags on pallets, often tarped front and side with the back open.
I'm back on the road after years away, so this was a new one on me. -
I have a mental picture of light brown shirt, badge, gun, and dark brown ball cap and body armor with "Dept of Maters" embroidered on......HoneyBadger67 Thanks this.

I never file on the bond, it’s a waste of time. They always always always reject your claim and you have to sue them anyway. I skip that step and sue the consignee. You would be shocked how quickly a deadbeat broker pays the shipping bill when they see their customers name on a civil complaint. Case law already dictates the carrier always gets paid and the consignee is ultimately responsible as the recipient of the carriers work product even if their broker doesn’t pay. The consignee must pay the carrier then the consignee has a claim against their broker. I have filed 32 lawsuits over the last 20 years and every single one was paid without a trial. All small claims with no bloodsucking lawyers needed.jamespmack, kylefitzy, lynchy and 4 others Thank this.
