    The steer axle argument never ends. For ME my steer tires determine what I can put on my steer axle. I have a 13,200 lb axle but have 6175 tires. So I will put up to 12,350 on my steers. This is what I do and have had no problems.

    No, what I meant is if you are posting it in general forum, how will we, as non-Swift drivers, know that your company doesn't allow loads over 12,000 lbs, even if they are legal? If you posted it in the Swift forum, you would have had drivers who know your company limitation.
