    Course I got a little DD13

If you really want to get off into the weeds on it the government wants everything locked to the point of how it leaves the factory is how it stays. The GHG points system works on an average across a manufacturer’s lineup so they don’t want guys ordering low horse power engines (low points) and cranking them up at the dealer (which would be higher points). Right now the manufacturers can run at a deficit, I forget the year when that will no longer be possible.

I didn't say it, you did.

Dealers don't want to help out the little guys. They have an option, and all that GHG is Manufacturer induced standards so they think they can comply with perceived Gov't regulations down the line 10 years from now.

But in Order to not bring Politics into this thread.. I'll leave your posts about how Government is regulating emission standards alone.

I'd love a DD13 with GHG-15 standards at 300HP spinning a huge genny like Edison is doing also..

You said manufacturers could make it easier for people to work on their trucks themselves if they wanted to and I pointed out that your statement isn’t accurate, that’s all.

When I ordered my ‘22 it was before any of the EPA21 trucks started showing up and we maxed everything out on the order because nobody could give an answer as to what could be changed once it showed up.

Guess you have a better dealer than me when you ordered you '22.

My statement is accurate. Even on your '22 you still need dealer level access to program CPC's, which even with a professional DDDL 8.13 license you still need dealership passwords to access the SAM controllers. Daimler locks you out.

If you got a hack or something, please let me know. I paid for 2 programming events I can't use, but are sitting in the Daimler que from last year.

    Lol!!! The K model has the remains of a 3406A DITA / RTO-14615 / 3:90 Eatons.
I have a 3406 7FB in the shop to replace the A model.

W900L has a 855 Big Cam converted from CPL 0749 & low flow, to CPL 625 & high flow. Extra smoke added to the pump with sweetened injectors / dual fuel line / N14 intake with air to air / Holset HT60 from 525 hp N14 / RTO 15613 / 3:70 Rockwells. This truck is my daily driver of course….

I don't guess I've ever seen an N14 manifold like that. Pretty neat. Is it an aftermarket intake? I guess the intake bell is bolted onto the top with a gasket?

I've messed with a bunch of em, a don't remember any that didn't look like this
