Same experience here. Try Flick's if you get a chance. It's the oldest of the three and has no showers or driver's lounge, but the food is awesome! It just could use a good power wash on the inside.

 

Gabes across the street is tremendously better in my opinion. I usually make it a point to stop on the way thru

 

Big Boys t/s in NC on I-95 exit 105. exit just south of all the other mega stops.

a real mom & pop, sit down restaurant, big parking lot. just remodeled this yr.

I've always gone to Big Boys just to avoid the tourists that flock to the Big 3. There is always parking available and I always enjoyed the old restaurant. My wife and I stopped a few months ago and actually enjoyed the new remodel and the food was still pretty good and all the employees are still friendly.
