Let's go Koleaseco

Got into Houston yesterday and parked at the flying j off I45 and Richie and went home for the night. Now I'm over here at HEB to deliver and then head back over to the flying j. Then back home until Tuesday.

 

Hometime was much needed and enjoyed. Now back out on the road. Currently doing a short run from Jasper, TX to Wilmer, TX. They probably will get me something out of Dallas heading back to Michigan. But won't find out until tomorrow morning most likely. This week I will have 3 deposit hitting back to back.

 

Update on my pass week. After delivering in wilmer my next load had me deadhead to broken bow, OK at tyson. That location is one of the smallest ones I ever been to. I get there more then 12hrs before my appointment. But of course I didn't have the right pick up numbers. Security was nice enough to let me park inside the gate while the broker get the right numbers because they didn't have it either. 2hrs or so go by before I was finally given the right numbers. Once loaded had to make another pick up in Carthage, MO at americold. I like driving down in the caves. It's always interesting. Just don't like the no cell service. After I was done there got a call from dispatch wanting to go over my next load assignment.

They wanted me to meet a driver in gary to swap out loads. Her load have 1 stop in ID, and 3 stops in WA. Let dispatch know I could run it as long as I got the hours on my 70. Which I do. So now here I sit at the first drop location. Was hoping for a quick unload but the unloader said it's going to be a while. They have one truck in a door. And one waiting after he pulls out. My next drop is not scheduled until tomorrow at 1300. I'm just 5hrs away. So making that shouldn't be a problem either.

 

Now on to the next load. Deadhead from Kent to Yakima, WA then over to Wenatchee, WA. That was a nice drive up. I have 3 stops. Tipp City, OH, Newport, MI, and final out in Lansing, MI. Once I get this load delivered going to have the shop look at my truck as it's starting to have problems. Which I figured it would since its currently has 697,937 miles on it. The coolant light comes on and constantly beeps for hours. Even though it's full of coolant. I have to turn the key 3 or 4 times before it will crank up. Sometimes have to do that just to get it into drive. Let's not forget every now and then I smell exhaust coming through the vents. And if the truck do a regen it's 10x worse. Thankfully the exhaust smell hasn't happened the last 4 days now. But fingers crossed it doesn't happen again.

 

Yes that's exactly what it is. Most of the backhauls go to meijer. The one in lansing is typically a drop for us.

 

This will be my first time going to Tipp, and Newport. Never really dealt with meijer until I came to koleaseco.
My appointment is set for midnight on the 20th. However I will be there around noon tomorrow. Hoping I can check in that early. The other meijer I been to didn't have a problem with me doing so. But didn't get a door until it was close to my appointment time. Which will be fine with me. The stop in Newport is scheduled for 1030 the same day.

 

I'm just now arriving at the Tipp City location. Got up much later then what I intended. I really need to stop drinking energy drinks because the next day I be so drained from them. But it's a good thing my appointment isn't until midnight. Checked in and just waiting now.
