I have been turning wrenches the last couple years, I did go to North Dakota and pulled production water off oil wells last winter, hauled fuel before that. Last time OTR was in 2012. thinking about going back out with Melton. I am 60 and in good shape should flatbed be a problem?
lets have a update on Melton

All the guys I've talked to there as of late seem happy enough. It is a starter company, but Most companies are anymore. I'd go with a smaller flatbed outfit local to you if I was in your spot, but that's just personal preference. Only issue you might run into is not having recent OTR experience. -
They screwed the boat.......
Enough said.....:-/

You're in a good location for Melton and Cypress in Jacksonville.
Abilene Motor Express will probably hire you and their trucks run 72 mph. They hire drivers that have been of the road for years. They pull reefers and dry vans. -
Thanks chinatown I will check into Abilene, the one thing about them they run a lot more northeast then i care t
ne of the main things about Melton was the health insurance, were i am now at the first of the year it will cost over 300 a week for wife and I ! if I still had kids at home all most 400 a week.Grossed 1300.00 last week bring home 800,00 I need to get the net up.
