    When are you starting? I thought local was exempt from elogs and such, except if they require logging. And the 30 minute break?

    Orientation is on the 18th. It's a pneumatic, I drive 250 miles, load and come back and empy it and drop the truck at the yard for the next driver... and it's only 4 miles away from home.

    Texas 12 hos,, drive 12, work 16 and only off for 8.. no 30 minute bs either.. Texas has it figured out..

    Allowed to work 16 hours total (drive and on duty) in 24 hours with a mandatory 8 consecutive hour break before the next 16 hour set. Required 34 hour restart every two weeks so you can get your dealer to bring you more go go juice.

    1. No more than three caffeinated drinks in one shift.
    2. Tear out style logbooks mandatory.
    3. All loads drop and hook or immediate load/unload upon arrival.
    4. No more than 16 hours driving or 1000 miles per individual driver per day.
    5. No 30 minute break, period.
    6. If you are within 250 miles of making it home, the HOS do not apply.
    7. Mandatory 72 hours at home every fri sat and sun.
