As said, to see if the 4 bags and 4 shocks are making the ride a little harsh.
It has softened up a little, but will try it anyways.
    On a side note...

#####!! That's a shiny piece!!! That will look great!

My 2004 4900FA has two bags with four shocks. The bags can just hold the cab up, it goes up and down slightly as the air pressure goes up and down. Maybe three would be the happy medium!!

    Maybe so Bill.
Herd sent the wrong bumper, and tried to blame my local dealer for their mistake. Problem is, I was stood right there when it was ordered! How Herd can go about business by only fone calls is beyond me, no written order at all. So now they want my local dealer to pay the freight back to Canada, and I agree with my local guys when they say screw that. Apparently the brackets were no where near lining up, and Herd said a little too quickly to "send it back".

That sucks Martin. I know those bumpers aren't cheap!! Another company that makes a nice bumper is MikMak, located in New Liskert, Ontario. http://www.mikmak.net/ Not sure if you can dump the Herd order, if not, I sure hope they make it right for you.

    Best of luck!!

I haven't paid a penny for it, nor will I until it's on there!
Luckily, I had the truck there for a PM and some warranty stuff anyways, so said for them to just put it on. Dealer said it would be 1.5-2hrs labor is all, so I said do it.
Got the call @9pm that night, that the mounts were wrong!
They are still waiting to hear from Herd, as Herd wanted a PO to get another one built and on the way, but I dont see why my local dealer should give them anything for their screw up. I know Herd want to cover the shipping, but it's their mess not anyone else's. So they can pay for it.

Unfortunately, the dealer has an account with Herd, so they have paid already. Herd was a little too quick to say it was the wrong bumper, and that my dealer ordered the wrong bumper. Thing is, I was stood right next to Ken when he ordered it, so I KNOW he ordered the bumper for my truck correctly.
Herd is now saying my truck has a drop frame, but the build sheet says nothing about it.
We think that Herd made 2 bumpers and shipped them to the wrong folks. Now they want my dealer to pay the shipping back to Mb!

On the ride front, it is now riding pretty nice compared to when it was new. Anything but the worst of roads is now every bit as good as the FL with air ride front axle. Maybe the springs needed to soften up a bit? Not a clue...
Still get some vibes at @20psi of boost and 1500rpms though
